Christensen Tools was born in 1965, 46 years ago, and was the brain child and passion of the late Mr. John Christensen. In the mid 1960's, electronics was just starting to take shape in South Africa. There was little known about electronics, let alone tool suppliers. It was at this time that Mr. Christensen visited overseas trade shows and obtained agencies for some of the products still sold today.In those days, Christensen was run out of a garage in Greenside, and was ostensibly a one man company. 46 years later, and with 3 generations of Christensen's being involved, the business has thrived into a national operation, with offices in Johannesburg, Durban & Cape Town. Steve Christensen has spear-headed the company to the heights we see today, with great patience and passion, and always led from the front. Times might have changed but the core business which started the business, still is present today.
